what the hell I’ve been doing this month

I wanted to make this a not-so-proud art dump of a ship I’ve been obsessed with until now but I’ve decided after waiting that this should be a self reflection post as well as an explanation for why I’ve been so inactive recently.
First: WARNING FOR PROBLEMATIC SHIP!!
One of the characters is a technically ageless teenager who I aged up for shipping purposes (if you think that’s weird then you have NO idea how bad it’s gonna get lol)
I’ve been obsessed with this pairing for way too damn long which negatively impacted me socially I believe. Currently having a break since I like something else rn. I’ll also be explaining the couple as I type this.
So: to start
Lately I’ve moved to a new city, the place I was in last month sucked ass, and as a result I went full bitter survival mode and didn’t really focus on online etiquette and sociology practice (the place I was at before it really fucked me up mentally despite my efforts). Ya see I consider myself a Neutralshipper who has mixed opinions on fiction vs reality stuff, I have a high mental focus on action and consequences so even if I ship something weird due to personal instinct I usually either keep it to myself or even talk about it non publicly with close friends to have a wide audience, clear conscience, and usually stay out of drama. That didn’t happen this time.
Because I was still in “survival mode” even after I moved (due to getting adjusted) I didn’t really consider my usual personal and online etiquette so I ended up both publicly engaging with (and even talked about) problematic ships publicly (and GOD did I pay for it), around 5-7 accounts I was a big fan of blocked me on my main account, I pushed away friends or stopped talking to them because I was so obsessed with one thing and couldn’t think of other things to bring up (still being effected by) and ultimately I have ruined my online reputation of a “being in the middle” type of fella. It ended up being the only thing I drew as well.
Once I realized it I was pretty pissed off at myself because I had handled these situations well before, but have definitely “let myself go” lol
Recently I got tired of the same thing and moved on to other pairings but the whole scenario is pretty disappointing since I could’ve avoided it. My friendships are ok now though (will post second part later)

Then a new character was introduced that could have fit the younger one... even younger. At that point I got VERY uncomfortable. >~< A lot of ppl on X were saying that if you ship the two older characters that you are a weirdo. I kept my mouth shut. Then when the even younger character was involved... heh. They didn't complain.

It’s kinda leading me to stop caring tbh, I have a non problematic alt account now anyway so why should I care anymore ??
